Request deletion without installing the app
Open Atlas in a browser, sign in and choose Delete Atlas account in Account or Personal settings. Read the deletion notice and confirm ownership if prompted. No Android installation is required. If you cannot access the account, email dev@theunknown.rip with the subject Atlas account deletion. Never send a password, sign-in token or private key.
What happens next
Verified in-app requests enter an automated queue. You can cancel before processing begins. During processing, sessions and further account writes are disabled. The service removes account-owned data and uploads, checks required provider and device cleanup, and automatically retries temporary failures. A queued or retrying request is not completed deletion. Signing in again after completion starts a new account and does not recover the old one.
Data included in the request
The request covers the Atlas account and linked login records, player profiles and their update history, profile and guild evidence belonging to the account, uploaded images and avatar selections, chats and direct messages authored by the account, saved and shared squads, breeding listings, announcements and calendar entries authored by the account, preferences, notification bindings and associated account records. Other players’ independently owned accounts and contributions are preserved. Public game-reference content is separate from personal account data.
Guild leadership and shared records
Guild leadership is reassigned or relinquished automatically using the guild’s current eligible membership and recorded leadership rules. The service preserves the other members’ accounts and contributions. No manual guild transfer is required before requesting deletion.
Processing time, logs and backups
Verified requests are processed automatically and temporary failures are retried. A request is not marked complete while a required cleanup check is outstanding. Managed database backup copies expire automatically after 30 days from capture; pre-existing copies registered for this rollout expire within 30 days of registration. The approved restore process removes deleted-account data before a restored database can be exported, and refuses unverified archives. These isolated backup copies are not available through the app. Central service logs have a separate 30-day expiry schedule. Other operational and provider security logs follow their applicable rotation and retention procedures; the 14-day message deadline does not describe their retention. Atlas cannot recall copies independently downloaded by other people.
Your Google, Apple and game accounts
Atlas deletion does not delete your Google account, Apple account or Palmon: Survival game progress. Where applicable, the flow asks you to verify Google access so Atlas can revoke its grant, and removes known device notification registrations. Provider-side deletion can have its own processing delay: Firebase states that removing an installation can take up to 180 days for associated data in its services. Atlas does not claim that it can erase independently retained provider security logs.
After deletion
A new Atlas sign-in after completed deletion starts a new account. Atlas does not recover deleted profiles using an old screenshot receipt, trainer name, email match or game UID. If another player already owns a valid UID claim, its ownership protections still apply. Copies downloaded by other people or held independently by an external service cannot be recalled by Atlas.
Messages after deletion
The account’s author label changes to Deleted player and its profile, avatar and role links are removed. Text can remain readable and reportable by the existing authorized chat audience for up to 14 days from deletion. New messages to the deleted account are blocked. At the deadline every message from that account disappears from chat, and unreported content is erased. Other participants’ messages remain. Relevant reported or flagged evidence stays private for up to 90 days from case creation with a review due after 30 days; case deadlines do not renew automatically. Active security restrictions follow their own expiry or revocation.
