About the Atlas
The Atlas is a community guide for Palmon: Survival. It is not the game developer or publisher. This notice describes public guide and account-based community features; availability depends on account permissions and service configuration.
Feature availability
The Wiki is public. Community features are available to signed-in permanent accounts. Access depends on the current player profile, server, guild, role and any required subscription entitlement. Community moderation and device notifications also depend on their service configuration and your settings.
Public guide and account access
You can read the public Wiki without signing in. Player profiles and community participation require a permanent account; anonymous player-profile creation is not available. Supabase Auth manages the app session and linked Google or Apple sign-in where enabled. Sign-in providers process login information under their own policies. Login email and account identifiers are not published as chat names.
Profiles and evidence
Profile records include the trainer name, game UID, server, guild information and the screenshots you submit. Screenshot evidence is processed to read game identity and support profile updates or leadership review. Game identity is not freely editable. A screenshot is evidence for review, not proof that you control a game account. Evidence and game UIDs are not public Wiki content: profile and screenshot reads require ownership or current authorized community access.
Chats, guilds and moderation
Messages, timestamps, profile references, guild membership, role decisions, reports and blocks support the community. Chat access depends on the current server, guild, role or direct-message participants. Authorized reviewers can inspect reports and relevant evidence; reporting a direct message does not make its entire conversation public. Blocks and account restrictions apply across profiles of the same account. Moderators may temporarily or indefinitely restrict shared text, including chat, announcements and calendar entries, and may separately restrict image uploads. Restriction changes generate an account notice; device delivery depends on permission and settings. People who can read content may retain copies.
Pictures and uploaded files
Valid supported images are automatically approved after file validation and are moderated through community reports. Automatic approval is not a content-safety certification. Images remain subject to the access rules for their profile, chat or other destination. An accepted profile screenshot crop may be used as a fallback picture when no chosen avatar exists. Members can report images, and authorized moderators can remove access to uploaded images and restrict further uploads. Removing a chosen picture resets its selection; moderation removal prevents future authorized reads but cannot recall copies already downloaded.
Optional device notifications
Device notifications require your permission and a configured delivery service. Where enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device registration token and notification delivery data. In-app notification preferences and the inbox are separate from device permission. You can decline permission or change it in your browser or operating-system settings; delivery is not guaranteed.
Squads, choices and stored data
Saved squads and preferences belong to your app account. Where squad sharing is available, people with release access and the link can read the formation snapshot; revocation prevents future link reads but cannot recall copied JSON or screenshots. Signing out on one device does not delete your account. Request deletion from Account or Personal settings, or use https://palmon.unkd.to/delete-account/. Verified in-app requests are processed automatically. A request is not completed deletion; you can cancel it until processing begins. Service failures are retried and must not be reported as successful deletion. The deletion notice explains data, retention and guild-leadership handling.
Deleted accounts and the reporting window
When deletion is processed, Atlas removes the public author name, profile link, avatar, guild and role badges from the deleted account’s messages. Text remains available only to the people who already have permission to read that chat, for up to 14 days from deletion. The purpose is to give affected users time to report threats, harassment, scams and other abuse and to prevent account deletion from destroying relevant evidence. The window does not create a public archive or allow new messages to the deleted account. At the deadline all of that account’s messages disappear from chat, including reported messages, and unreported content is erased. Other participants’ messages remain. Privacy removal and moderation can end visibility sooner.
Reported evidence and active security restrictions
Relevant reported or flagged message evidence may be retained privately for authorized moderation for up to 90 days from case creation, with a review due after 30 days. The case deadline does not renew automatically. A report does not retain the entire conversation. Evidence is separate from the 14-day chat window and is not publicly accessible. To enforce an active restriction after re-registration, Atlas retains a keyed digest of the verified game UID with the restriction type, scope and expiry. Timed restrictions expire automatically; indefinite restrictions remain until revoked. These records do not restore an old account, name or profile.
Your privacy rights and policy acknowledgment
You can contact dev@theunknown.rip to request access, correction or erasure, or object to retained use of your information where applicable. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Deleting your login does not remove your privacy rights. Terms acceptance and acknowledgment of this notice are recorded with their version and time; they are not a waiver of legal rights or blanket consent to indefinite retention. Account deletion and privacy help remain available without accepting updated terms.
Hosting, analytics and service logs
Atlas uses operator-managed, self-hosted services for accounts and community data. Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the website and API; website analytics also processes page and performance information. Service and provider processing can include IP or client addresses, request paths, referring pages, browser or device information, response status and errors. We use operational records to run the service, diagnose problems and investigate abuse. These records are separate from optional notification preferences. Google and Apple process sign-in information where their sign-in option is enabled, and notification providers process registration and delivery information where notifications are enabled.
Screenshot troubleshooting copies
When an uploaded screenshot is accepted for processing, Atlas can retain a private diagnostic copy, including when recognition fails. Troubleshooting records can include recognized text, its positions in the image, confidence information, attempted reading methods and results. Authorized troubleshooting staff use these records to reproduce failures and improve recognition. Diagnostic copies are scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days from the attempt and may be removed sooner when storage limits are reached. This limit applies to the diagnostic copy, not a screenshot retained separately as accepted profile or guild evidence.
Retention of other records
The 30-day screenshot diagnostic limit is separate from accepted profile evidence and account deletion. Account deletion removes account-owned active records, uploads and diagnostic copies through automated, retryable cleanup. The 14-day message reporting window and bounded moderation evidence are described above. Backups and service logs follow the separately verified schedule stated on the account-deletion page. Copies already downloaded by other people cannot be recalled by Atlas.
Transport and access to content
Connections from the app or browser to Atlas public services use HTTPS. Some connections within the hosting infrastructure currently do not use transport encryption. Messages and uploaded content are processed by the service and are not end-to-end encrypted. Access controls restrict community content to its intended audience and authorized service or moderation functions.
Sign-in and game accounts
Atlas currently uses Google sign-in through its account service. It does not use Google Play Games Saved Games to synchronize Atlas profiles. Linking an enabled sign-in provider is distinct from creating or deleting a provider account. Atlas account deletion removes Atlas account records and their sign-in links; it does not delete a Google or Apple account or change Palmon: Survival game progress. Signing in again after completed deletion creates a new Atlas account and does not restore deleted profiles or merge by name, email or game UID. Provider consent and device registration removal are separate processing checks, and a completed Atlas deletion is not a claim that an external provider has erased every log.
